The next queer figure drawing event will take place at Colman Park Beach on the shores of Lake Washington in Seattle at 7pm on Wednesday, July 15th. The session starts promptly at 7pm, so artists should aim to arrive a few minutes early to give themselves time to find parking and settle in. Regarding accessibility, the session will take place in a grassy uneven field that is accessible by a paved sidewalk with curb cuts up from the parking lot.  There are no bathrooms at the park. This is a public park and other people unassociated with this drawing group will be around.

ALL skill levels welcome and encouraged! Spare art supplies will be available, but you are encouraged to bring any of your own supplies. Please bring your own blankets/chairs/clipboards/easels/etc. Artists will be seated on the ground in a circle around the model. Our returning model this week is Risqué And Rye!

This practice is centered around queer people, although I certainly won’t be defining what that means for models or artists - it is up to folks to decide if this applies to them. If you want to be in this space, you likely belong in it.

Pose schedule:

• 10 x 30 second poses (5 min)

• 5 x 2 minute poses (10 min)

• 4 x 3 minute poses (12 min)

• 3 x 5 minute poses (15 min)

• 2 x 8 minute poses (16 min)

• 1 x 10 minute poses (10 min)

• And a few minutes to share drawings.

Regarding covid, masking is required for participants. The model will be unmasked.
